Now in addition to hosting both international and local guests the winery at Auckland also serves as a venue for concerts which hosted Simply Red in February of 2009. It also hosted the Auckland philharmonic Orchestra along with a host of other well known bands of New Zealand.
Many if not all of Villa Maria's top wines are either labeled Reserve or they are labeled Single Vineyard. However you should also check out the more widely sold and available cellar selection which offers great quality and stunting value. Another good thing to try out is the forth tier wines and besides the term bin being used they are produced in large quantity and are attractively priced.
